Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide Generator – Puriter

PURITER - VHP generator - is designed to sterilize interior surfaces by vaporizing liquid hydrogen peroxide. The entire process is carried out using patented technology.

The device generates hydrogen peroxide vapors, which are distributed into the sterilized space through a special piping system or directly into closed boxes or isolators. Hydrogen peroxide vapors effectively destroy bacteria, viruses, spores, and mold without damaging the sterilized materials. After the process is complete, the hydrogen peroxide decomposes into water and oxygen, which is an environmentally friendly solution.

Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide Generator – Puriter
  • Hydrogen peroxide – An FDA-approved antibacterial agent at a 35% concentration that swiftly oxidizes the cell walls of microorganisms, thereby neutralizing them.
  • Load cell weighing – Allows highly accurate determination of the current hydrogen peroxide weight in the storage or dosing system.
  • Storage tank – Capacity up to 5 l.
  • Decontamination process – Takes place at standard temperature (25–30 °C) and normal pressure.
  • Intuitive operation – Via SIEMENS touch screen with program selection.
  • Construction material – Stainless steel AISI 304, SB polished surface.
  • Data communication – Via PROFINET, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU.
Advantages of Dry Technology for Safe Decontamination
  • Dry technology.
  • Suitable for use around corrosion-sensitive materials.
  • High effectiveness against a wide range of microorganisms.
  • Short sterilization time.
  • Gentle on materials and the environment.
  • Well-proven technology.
  • Safe for use in patient care.
  • Process automation and monitoring.
Placement Options for the H₂O₂ Generator
EXTERNAL – Generator for both equipment and rooms (manual or with a superior communication system)
INTEGRATED – Generator for equipment (e.g., isolator, pass-through cabinet)
Integrated decontamination system for buildings and facilities
The PURITER is part of comprehensive systems for the decontamination of buildings and facilities. These systems are used in healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry, general industry, research, and critical infrastructure.
Decontamination of rooms is carried out using a hydrogen peroxide vapor generator (Puriter), which is located outside the decontaminated areas, typically in a technical or non-classified room. The hydrogen peroxide vapor is distributed into the rooms to be decontaminated via a dedicated pipeline that leads from the generator to nozzles in the ceilings of the individual rooms. The contaminated air is extracted through exhaust ducts (HVAC).
Thanks to the integrated system, the hydrogen peroxide vapor generator does not need to be repositioned, which reduces the time needed for manual setup and eliminates the risk of human error.
