A New Generation of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product Preparation System

This year we have managed to finish a new project "isolator with incubator" for the development of which we received a grant in 2021. This project was financed with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the TREND Programme.

The aim of the project solved was to create a prototype system for the preparation of medicinal products of modern therapy, enabling the production of genetically modified human cells. These cells must be processed in an isolated system and expanded in incubators.

The project successfully developed a new independent workplace allowing the preparation of modern therapeutic medicines, enabling the production of genetically modified human cells. This equipment consists of three main cooperating subsystems – an isolator workstation, an incubator and a decontamination system. The entire complex has been tested several times both in terms of functionality, serviceability and usability.
