TIMOTEC Delivers Cell Culture Isolator with Integrated Incubator to Masaryk University

TIMOTEC has successfully completed the delivery of a dual-chamber cell culture isolator with an integrated incubator for Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. The system was designed for the aseptic handling of sterile materials, cell cultures and genetic material, meeting the demanding requirements of modern research laboratories.

The isolator features a Grade A (ISO 5) working area with unidirectional laminar airflow, providing maximum product protection. Operating under negative pressure, the system is equipped with an integrated VHP decontamination system using hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) vapour. Pressure differentials and air exchange are electronically controlled via an intuitive HMI, while the isolator complies with Leak Tightness Class 2 according to ISO 10648-2 / ISO 14644-7.

A key feature of the system is the integrated incubator, which allows cell cultivation directly inside the isolator. This eliminates the need to transfer sensitive samples between separate devices, significantly reducing the risk of contamination while improving process safety and laboratory efficiency.
